Hope United Church is a community of faith that is open to all, offering the freedom to explore the questions of life, share the love of Christ, grow in faith, and work for peace and justice.
Our Georgetown, Texas Christian Church is open to all. It doesn't matter if you are gay or straight or transgender, young or old, single, married or divorced, have gone to church all your life or are just curious. And when we say we are gay friendly, we mean it. About 30% of our membership identify as LGBT, and our ages range from infant to 80s.
At Hope United Church, we believe God loves all people. We are open-minded about the Word and the ways God is still speaking. We favor mystery and exploring questions over rigid dogma, and we value sharing Jesus through acts of service and compassion.
Worship every Sunday Morning at 10 am. Sunday School is held during worship.

Mission of the Month

October 1, 2017 – October 31, 2017

During the month of October, our special offering will be split between the UCC’s Neighbors in Need and the Disciples offering for Reconciliation Ministry. Neighbors in Need supports a variety of justice initiatives, advocacy efforts, and direct service projects. The Reconciliation Offering helps our mission to become an pro-reconciling and anti-racist church utilizing experiential education, inclusive worship and intentional dialogue.

Noisy Sunday!

Save your Change! We’re having a fun activity in church to raise some funds for Hope United! On Sunday, October 29, the children will be collecting coins (in metal pans) from folks in worship. George plans to step outside! Help us to make it as LOUD as possible!
